Lipsker Co. was founded in 1962 by the late Yitzhak Lipsker, a pioneer in the geotechnics industry in Israel, and his late wife and partner, Ruth. In the late 1980s, their son Yoram joined the company’s management, followed by other members of the family, a sister and brother, Shiri and Nimrod, and a grandson Roy Lederberg.

At its founding, the company engaged in test borings and piles for retaining walls and foundations. It later expanded its activity to many fields, becoming a leading brand and recognized name in the field of geotechnics.

At the end of 2021, the company was acquired by the Shapir Group and is currently managed by Yitzhak's son Yoram Lipsker and Ram Halevy . Ohad Eliyahu serves as VP of Engineering.
