Lipsker&Co. has completed the installation of hundreds of small diameter piles serving to stablize the soil and stop sinking in the railway bridge at Paleshet in the Southern coastal region. To avoid stopping rail traffic, the work, which took a number of weeks to complete was carried out by day and night shifts each weekend. The piles were executed under the close supervision of Israel Railways personnel, monitoring the effects of the work on rail track height. Due to limitations of space and weight along the rail line, the work required the use of very powerful but light equipment.
