The Shapir Company constructed a tunnel beneath the Shaare Zedek Hospital car park. Due to the presence of a sinkhole, a collapse occurred. Lipsker & Co. was chosen to address the problem. The activity in the project parking area was conducted in two different phases. In the first phase, we performed horizontal jet grouting and grout injections in the TAM pipe method on both sides of the landslide inside the tunnel through clay soil that broke through and slid into the tunnel after the completion of the temporary support phase to stabilize the soil and fill empty spaces as much as possible, to facilitate more comfortable and safe conditions for re-tunneling the same segment.

In the second phase, we performed additional drilling using the vertical TAM pipe method to grout and fill all the spaces in the sinkhole area that opened above the tunnel at that point. These boreholes were drilled into different soil layers at depths of about 50-60 m using casing method.
